 General
  • The nucleic acids are the building blocks of living organisms. You may have heard of DNA described the same way. Guess what? DNA is just one type of nucleic acid. Some other types are RNA, mRNA, and tRNA.
  • The nucleic acids are very large molecules that have two main parts. The backbone of a nucleic acid is made of alternating sugar and phosphate molecules bonded together in a long chain.

Process

  •  Binding Column allows rapid clearing and DNA binding to occur in one step. Once plasmid DNA is bound to the PureYield

  •  Binding Column, a single wash with the Endotoxin Removal Wash is performed followed by a single wash with the Column

  •  These washes are rapid and typically take less than 5 minutes to complete. Highly pure concentrated DNA is eluted.
